Yesterday I found the Connecticut Yankee letterbox at Haddam Meadows
State Park, and I would like to report that the box is in good
condition but the logbook is full!

CT box report

Hi Everyone,
Today I had a lovely day of letterboxing, which began with Whimsy
Walk in Old Lyme, CT. I found all 4 boxes: the 3 Drewclan boxes
which were wonderful (as always!) and the Whimsy Village Cairn box
planted by Butterfly which was also a very wonderful box! What a
wonderful location!
However, I have to report that one of the Drew's boxes, the
Northwest Point Letterbox, was very badly chewed. The blue rubber
edge was completely chewed up all the way around, compromising the
seal. What could have chewed on it like that?? I never saw
anything like it before!
Since it was early yet, I also had time to search for (and find!)
the Lake Shore letterbox at Gardner Lake. This box is alive and
well (well-hidden, that is).
All of the above boxes have great stamps!
Thanks, Drewclan and Butterfly, for a lovely day!
